Karlstad GK is the largest golf complex in Värmland, with 3 nine-hole loops combined into one 18-hole course , par 72, and a 9 hole course. The course is a classic forest and park in a wonderful natural environment. It has a restaurant and a practice area

Karlstad Golf Club is the oldest club in the region. The complex consists of 27 holes (where two loops are combined into an 18 hole course). Red and Blue loop were completed in the late 50s , while the yellow loop was opened 1989 The club is known as a championship course , par 72, and recognized organizer of international competitions such as Wermland Open and European Championships for both men and ladies. But it is also a course that suits the average golfer and the beginner just fine.

The club has a range, fine training areas in general, a well-stocked golf shop and restaurant. There are golf carts to rent. Only softspikes are permitted. Dogs are not allowed on the course.
